Where to Drink in Magaluf
It's impossible to think of Magaluf and not think of its reputation for partying!
Punta Ballena is the famous strip where you'll be treated to half a mile of wall-to-wall bars, clubs and late-night eateries. It's not for the faint-hearted hen, and you best prepare yourself to see some really weird stuff that you'll be in hysterics about for weeks. Go retro with a paint or bubble party, or tune in to a club hosting a famous DJ. It's packed every day during summer and definitely worth checking out whilst you're there!
Just a stone's throw from the golden Magaluf sands you'll find heaps of bars to keep all hens happy at all times. If you stick to this beachside area you'll stay hydrated all night with a mass of venues opening til the very early hours.
Everything is within easy walking distance so it's very heel-friendly and simple to corral stragglers. After a lazy day on the beach, there's nothing better than dressing up and heading out with all the energy you've been harvesting from the Mallorcan sun!

It's time for a hen weekend in Magaluf!
More than a million partygoers head to Magaluf each year, drawn in by the soaring temperatures, the beautiful sandy beaches, and... oh, that's right, the explosive nightlife! The music is thumping, the clubs are sizzling, and the man are tall, tanned and Spanish (and a lot of pasty English lads on holiday, we admit). The pulsing atmosphere and electrifying vibes keep people going back year after year - it's time to get your girls in on the act and out to Spain for a Magaluf hen weekend!
Why: Reasons to celebrate in Magaluf
There's a reason why Magaluf is the most popular resort in Majorca, and one of the most popular in the Balearic Islands - it's a hotbed of sun, fun, and partying hard, making it the ideal place to celebrate a hen weekend with your favourite ladies! There are three gorgeous, sandy beaches, temperatures averaging 22 °C in the summer months, clear blue Balearic sea, all the water sports you want, and numerous restaurants and shops. Palma Nova with the Sa Seu is only a short drive away, if you're longing for a bit of culture and sophistication, but let's be honest - the real reason people love Magaluf is the nightlife. The clubbing scene is second to none, with one of Europe's largest superclubs on island, and it's now the premier party spot for girls who want to let loose and hit the dance floor for one of the biggest, wildest nights of their lives.
What: But what do you do in Magaluf?
Hen weekends in Magaluf are primarily about the nightlife, we confess. The main strip (Carrer de la Punta Ballena) is buzzing day and night with partygoers. Lined with more than 50 bars there's a venue to suit everyone, with drinks deals and themed nights to match. To help keep all of the girls together and pace your unforgettable night out we've got some fantastic evening activities, from a tasty meal out with the girls to hunky male strippers, a bar crawl or a booze cruise.
Don't think that you'll spend the days counting down until the clubs open, though - once you've finished soaking up the sun, splashing in the pools, and swimming in the sea, there's still plenty to do in Magaluf - from water parks to cocktail classes, we've got plenty to keep you busy during the day too. A good plan could include spending a bit of time topping up your tan in the morning, before grabbing lunch and heading off to a cheeky pole dancing lesson or cocktail class in the afternoon. Start off the evening with a meal and a show - though whether you go for pirates or strippers is up to you - before it's time to get your heels on and hit the dance floor! Party till dawn, then repeat! Whether you want a relaxing weekend on the beach, soaking up Vitamin D and enjoying cocktails, or you'd rather have an action packed time getting your hearts pumping and your adrenaline up, we've got something to suit.
When: When's a good time for Magaluf hen weekends?
If you're all about the clubs, Magaluf is strictly a summer time destination - head there some time between May and October to make the most of the nightclub and bar scene. After that, the party is over and they're likely to be packed up for the season. However, if you're just there for the beaches and weather, there's a range of festivals and events throughout the year to keep you entertained, provided you're willing to travel out in the Majorca - really not a hardship, since the whole island is beautiful. In March there's the Pollenca Wine Fair (one of our favourites), then in June there's the huge Sant Joan Fiesta and Sant Jaume. Towards the end of the year you can celebrate the Olive Fair and the Mushroom Fair (which we like to call the Appetizers Fair), and the New Wine Fair (another favourite).
Shop: Magaluf shopping areas and recommendations
In Magaluf there are some great opportunities for a bit of retail therapy - especially around the centre of Magaluf and Palma Nova, where you'll find a selection of cool shops and clothes stores in which to while away a bit of time on a Saturday afternoon. There are plenty of souvenir shops too, perfect for taking some gifts back for friends and family.
How: How do we get to Magaluf?
The fact that Magaluf doesn't have its own airport isn't enough to stop a Magaluf hen do from getting underway - Palma de Mallorca is approximately a 20 minute drive away. The resort's huge popularity with the tourists means that plenty of airports fly out to Magaluf - and, even better for you, plenty of the budget airlines do too. All the London airports are covered, as are most of the main city airports around the UK.
