If you simply want to spend some quality time with Mother Nature, the dramatic, beautifully wild Peak District is also just an hour's drive away. Kinder Scout, the park's highest point offers stunning (and Instagram friendly) panoramic views of the Derbyshire countryside, and is well worth the trip.
