If the bride-to-be is a nature lover, then where better to head than the Peak District. Magnificent mountains, steeped limestone valleys, magical steppingstones, and dramatic skies, she'll be in hen heaven. And these special little pods, based on the edge of the breathtakingly beautiful Peak District are just the cherry on the cake. You and the girls can experience the raw beauty and peaceful tranquillity of your natural surroundings without compromising on your home comforts, good nights sleep, and the special touches that are required on a hen weekend.
These little pods are like something from George Clarke's Amazing Spaces/ The Hobbit, but better because it'll be girls only! Each of the pods come with a comfy double bed and a futon or a bunk bed, a fridge, toaster, kettle, tea & coffee making facilities and free WiFi. So whether you're mixing up some hot chocs to enjoy around the fire, keeping the bubbly cool, or using the WiFi to share your beautiful landscape pics, you'll find everything you need to relax in style!
You'll find a hob, preparation area and cooking utensils in the shared kitchen area, so you can rustle up some delicious camping feasts and dine alfresco on the picnic bench or cook up a smoky BBQ and cosy up around the firepit. The site also offers heated bathrooms with warm showers and a mirror, so there's no need to go mental with the dry shampoo!
As well as being hen and insta-friendly, it's built with our environment in mind. The facilities are fully insulated, eco-powered and heated by the wind turbine on the farm. It's roughly an hours drive from Nottingham, three miles from the pubs and shops in Ashbourne town and 1.5 miles from the nearest pub where you can enjoy tasty food and locally produced cider. Ideal!
