A huge country kitchen with high ceilings and funky floral prints, rolling hills outside the windows, a huge dining table, gated driveway, parking, hot tub and complete calm and tranquillity, you'll have everything required for a comfy and relaxing stay in the country, whilst still being just a short drive from the buzzing party cities of Bristol and Bath. This is a fabulous start to a memorable weekend and your own escape to the country.
Nestled in the Cotswold countryside and picture-postcard perfect, this really is an "OMG" kind of a house. You arrive via the grand gated driveway with plenty of parking for all the group's designated drivers. First impressions are of the large beautifully maintained gardens and huge proportions of the house. Inside you'll find big, spacious rooms with high ceilings and large windows allowing plenty of natural light. Originally the house was built for a Prime Minister and it has lost none of its grandeur.
There are six bedrooms in total with twenty-four beds (larger groups will have to share doubles) and four bathrooms. All the rooms have grand dimensions giving a real sense of space. Mornings can begin with a cuppa out in the gardens or you can take a stroll on a country walk. If you're more of a city girl, the bustling shopping havens of Bristol and Bath are both just a short drive away. The group's Mary Berry (originally from Bath) can make the most of the huge kitchen which has plenty of room for all the hens to help out. The dining table sits in the impressive reception hall and will seat the whole group.
After dinner, you can make the most of the hot tub, start your party in one of two reception rooms or assemble the party posse ready to make the quick trip into Bath or Bristol.
This amazing property really is special, with a great history and so much space, you can create fabulous hen memories and upload it all to Instagram for everyone else to drool over ("yep, we really stayed here!").
Can be combined with other properties nearby for larger groups.
