If you think you're hen party has the right amount of daring-do and just a little bit of crazy, this is one hen party none of the hens will ever forget!
Could there be anything more symbolic for the bride-to-be before she takes the plunge into married life than leaping from a bridge? This is one extreme tick on anyone's bucket list and the perfect activity for adrenaline loving hens during the pre-wedding weekend. Yep, if you consider bungee jumping is just not scary enough then this unbelievable experience is one small step for woman but one massive leap for hen kind.
For those that have never heard of bridge swinging before, it really is a leap of faith like no other. While bungee jumping can be a little harsh as it brings you to a sudden stop and then send you hurtling skywards again, bridge swing will send you in huge parabola. You'll still make the massive leap, you still freefall, apparently hurtling towards the ground at a rapid rate of knots, the difference is that you'll do so swinging in an arc so when you reach the bottom... you just keep going! Swinging backwards and forwards as you scream your lungs out.
But this isn't just any bridge swing, it takes place over the spectacular Danube River, one of the most famous waterways in the world. Just the view from the top is quite breathtaking, so to actually jump from the bridge is incredible!
It's high! Well, of course, it would be but it's can be difficult to get your head around the scale of the drop. 20 metres!!! That's the equivalent of 5 double-decker buses, the height of the Temple of Ramesses II in Egypt, and as tall as the Angel of the North. Phew!
Please Note: We work with 1000s of suppliers across the UK & Europe so prices, availability, photos and specifics on our bridge swing activity may vary depending on your preferred location and dates.
Feel free to ask your Destination Specialist at the time of booking if you have any questions about this.
