A Guide To Your Rome Hen Weekend

Where to Drink in Rome

"A fool is one who admired other cities without visiting Rome". Wise words here, hens, and make sure you listen because you wouldn't want to miss the relaxed yet glamorous vibe in this stunning city when it comes to where to drink. Two of the cooler areas to head to after dark are Ostienese and San Giovanni. It means a bit of public transport, but you'll get a much more local vibe and easily the best clubs for dancing.

Prices are steeper in the touristy areas, but you're so spoilt for choice it's hard to care! With a restaurant bar on every corner, you'll never go thirsty. Piazza Navona is a lush place to start and a truly scenic spot to catch up over an Italian wine!

Sights & Sounds

Sights - Who knew that old ruins could be so beautiful? Rome is full of them, and the remains of the Roman Forum, less well known they may be, could be the prettiest of them all. A walk around this serene location makes for the perfect stress-buster, and it's a great way to get cultured on your big weekend in this stunning, historical city. At the very least there are great selfie opportunities to be had!

Sounds - Rome's bright young things are all looking for a good time after they leave work on a Friday evening, and more often than not they'll all convene in Shari Vari. Decadence and luxury are the order of the day is this French-chic club and everybody looks as if they've walked straight from a cover shoot for Vogue magazine.
Vicious is definitely a club for a tattooed bride-to-be. It's deep, dark and heavy atmosphere amidst Italy's finest electronica is reminiscent of the grungiest of Berlin nights, and GoHen absolutely loves it.

Shopping in Rome

Rome is one of the fashion capitals of the world. The Italian's love to dress up, and more often than not they look absolutely stunning. A saunter through the Via del Corso is frequented with the sight of beautiful girls and the Italian hunks of our prosecco-induced fantasies - but you don't have to empty your bank accounts in Versace or Dolce & Gabana to look like they do. Rome is home to some of the best vintage shops and markets in Europe, and with their wears you can create a classic look that's sure to turn the head of even the most stylish Roman fashionistas.

Via del Governo Vecchio - Retro-chic loving hens will adore this fantastic street filled to the brim with bijou vintage boutiques - it's like shopping for designer clothes at half the price!
