Seeing as you're on an island, there are plenty of sunny beaches to enjoy during your stay, the biggest of which are Ryde and Appley. There's plenty of room to play beach games here, so if you're a dab hand at volleyball or ultimate Frisbee then game on hens! If the bride-to-be's had a little too much wine the night before, you can rest your weary heads on one of the quieter beaches like Shanklin, Sandown or Ventnor - just hope for nice weather!
The island's party-goers all flock to the Isle of Wight's premiere nightclub The Balcony. This place is always buzzing on a weekend, and there are plenty of big tunes for you to throw shapes to until the early hours of the morning. This funky venue is on the top floor of a bowling alley, so you can even hit the lanes for a bit before making your way upstairs...GoHen did!

June - Isle of Wight Festival. This is one of the only times a year that music-lovers and party starters flock to the isle in their masses to celebrate music that rocks.
August - V-Dub Island. Volkswagen Campervans are currently the in-vogue wedding transport and after experiencing this fabulous fiesta, it won't be hard to see why!

Girls About Town - Getting around Isle of Wight...
This beautiful land is certainly worth seeing on foot, and you should certainly encourage the girls to walk as much as they can - there are few places in Britain as enchanting as this. However, if you're travelling to a different part of the Isle then there's an extensive bus network (Southern Vectis) that runs between the main towns and resorts. You can buy either a Rover or Freedom ticket to save you from foraging for coins in your purse!
