Rum Tasting in London

Rum truly is the taste of the Caribbean, it evokes sunshine and good times, it's almost impossible not to feel a little bit warmer ("...feeling hot hot hot...") while enjoying a good glass of rum. The tasting session doesn't just take place in a bar, this is a rum shrine, an entire room dedicated to this amazing drink and containing 200 different types of rum which have been gathered from around the world, so you really will be spoilt for choice. But don't panic, the rum experts will lead the way, giving you a perfect selection of six distinctly different rums.

The venue has a lively atmosphere, with hints of 1920's Cuba, a real rum drinker's heyday. There are vintage prints, a sipping salon, quirky retro hairdryers and a grand veranda where you can watch the floor below as people jive to cool jazz tunes. You'll also have a reserved table for the rest of the evening to come back to between time spent on the dance floor.

This really is an incredible, timeless night in a really special venue that is so much more than just a bar. You'll learn all about the rums, the colourful history of rum and some of the surprising ways it has influenced so many things.
