The friendly and wonderfully German Meininger Hotel has everything you would expect, it's very efficient and features fabulous design. It's also slap bang in the middle of the city centre, so you'll be just a hop, skip and a glass of schnapps away from the best bars and clubs. Berlin is packed with amazing nightlife which will all be on your doorstep saving you money and hassle on taxi fares.
The hotel has a relaxed, informal feel with trendy polished concrete sitting alongside bright coloured furnishings and 24-hour reception on hand to offer you every assistance. There's no restaurant but there is a guest kitchen if you fancy whipping up your own hen feast, although with the best the city has to offer within easy walking distance there's no end of bars, cafes and restaurants to choose from.
If you do want to get out and see the city, you can rent bikes at reception, if you're not feeling quite so energetic you can let the caffeine work its magic in the easy bar/café area. There is also a breakfast buffet serving typically German breakfast fayre (cold meats, fruit, cheese, muesli, bread rolls). You can also buy packed lunches.
But the star of the show is most definitely the location, with so much right on your doorstep there's no excuse for not making the most of your time in Germany's party capital and get out to see the sights. You'll be filling your Instagram feeds with #TeamHen photos in some fantastic locations with the famous landmarks or just larking about because that's what hen weekends are for.
