The Company has now ceased taking new bookings, and arrangements are in place with ABTOT to support customers with existing bookings.

A Boutique Woodland Hen Escape in the North East
The Wildwood Retreat is an exclusive-hire, boutique glampsite designed for hen groups who want to slow things down and celebrate together in a peaceful woodland setting. Hidden away in the North East countryside, the entire site is yours for the weekend - no neighbours, no interruptions, just fresh air, firelight and space to breathe.
Off-Grid Comfort, Done Properly
Sleeping up to 25 guests across six yurts and bell tents, the accommodation is thoughtfully laid out for group stays. Each unit is heated and fully prepared with proper bedding, lanterns, cooking equipment and its own fire pit.
There's no WiFi or plug sockets on site, by design. Phones get signal, but this is about switching off from everyday noise and enjoying quality time together.
Communal Spaces & Woodland Living
At the heart of The Wildwood Retreat is a large communal fire pit - the natural gathering point for chats, laughter and late-night moments. There's also plenty of communal space for activities, BBQs for outdoor cooking, and surrounding fields and woodland that work beautifully for games, workshops or quiet morning walks.
Hot showers, flushing toilets and solar lighting keeps things comfortable while staying true to the off-grid feel.
Optional Extras, Hot Tub & Catering
You can enhance your stay with a range of optional upgrades, including a luxurious forest hot tub for evening wind-downs under the stars. Veggie catering options can also be added, with breakfasts, relaxed lunches and hearty campfire suppers available to take the pressure off planning and cooking.
On-Site Activities (Required Booking)
To support the site and its resident practitioners, all groups are required to book a minimum of two activities from the on-site programme as part of their stay. These experiences are a core part of The Wildwood Retreat.
