Darts? It's a game for blokes with bad shirts, bad hair and way too much jewellery. But Axe-throwing? Now that's more like it!

Hen party axe throwing is like darts in that you are simply throwing some sharp objects and targets to score points. But darts are just little feathered things, axes are cool and make you feel like an Amazon warrior or Viking shieldmaiden. Yes, it's all a little bit Game of Thrones in the coolest possible way.

Taking place in a really cool urban setting you won't have to go off into the forest dressed like Robin Hood, this really is a funky big version of darts. It's also really good training for when the zombie apocalypse happens (ok, it might not happen but do you really want to take that chance?). The best thing of all though is that its brilliant fun and competitive. If you have some hens in your group with a competitive streak (or maybe that's you and the bride-to-be) then they'll love learning how to get deadly accurate with this new skill while beating the rest of the hens and hitting the highest score.

If you throw a really high score you'll be awarded a T-shirt and have your name entered onto the wall of fame.

This is definitely not your average hen weekend, it's certainly not for hens in high heels and long nails, this is for hens who love adventure, trying new things, who aren't afraid to 'kick-ass' every once in a while. It's also the perfect therapy after the stresses of wedding planning... "Take THAT!!" (*Thwock!*)
