Footgolf is the ultimate mash-up of two of the best sports on the planet (that's football and golf if you hadn't guessed!). Following the rules of golf - but supersized with footballs instead of golf balls, legs instead of clubs, plus much bigger holes - it's the perfect hen activity for football lovers looking to add a dollop of hilarity into their big weekend.
Depending on the location you choose, the session will vary slightly, but they all follow a similar format.
Footgolf: Unguided
In the unguided session, you'll fire off around the course by yourselves - that means you'll be reffing each other, so let's all play fair now! Why not spice it up by adding some side bets/forfeits on certain holes (loser gets the cocktails in!).
Footgolf: Match Play
A referee will be provided to ensure there's no cheating going on (which, let's face it, is going to be rife if we left you to it!!). Golf attire will be required by the course on these ones.
Your Destination Specialist will be able to tell you the restrictions depending on which location you select.
Footgolf Rules
- To 'tee off' the ball must be stationary
- Your tee shots must be taken from behind the line
- Wherever the ball lies, you must play from there
- Only one person can take their shot at one time
- The furthest ball from the hole goes first
- There is a max number of shots per hole (usually 10)
Footgolf 2.0
If you've got the finishing skills of Alex Morgan or the dead-ball accuracy of Andrea Pirlo, why not up the ante with a few extra rules:
- Weak foot tee shots
- Back healed putting
- Closest to the pin bets
