  • You'll then be 'sorted' outside the school that inspired Hogwarts
  • Visit the real Diagon Alley

Wands at the ready, this Harry Potter themed tour of Edinburgh is the perfect addition to any Potterhead's hen party. Leave your invisibility cloaks at home and undertake a fascinating tour of where Harry's journey to worldwide stardom began and the real places and people that helped create his fantasy world.

You'll meet your guide at the statue of Greyfriars Bobby and be taken on a fascinating journey to see the people and places that inspired characters and scenes from the books. The guides are all massive fans of Potter and give the tours in full wizarding robes that would make Madam Malkin proud! What's more, there's nothing to stop you donning your own Hogwarts robes to give yourself the full Potter experience.

Learn who J.K Rowling thought was the world's worst poet was and find out which Hogwarts teacher is named after him. For an added treat you even have the chance to be sorted into a Hogwarts house, Sorting Hat and all, outside the real school that inspired Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. If that isn't enough to fill your pensieve, you and the rest of the hens will get to walk down the real life Diagon Alley!

Muggle history is also well catered to on the tour with your magical guides showing you the final resting place of Lord Voldemort (yes it's a real place) and the café where J.K Rowling wrote the first Harry Potter book. If that doesn't give you chills you'd have to be colder than Moaning Myrtle…

Even if some of your group aren't as big potterheads as the bride-to-be this tour is still lively and atmospheric, taking you through Edinburgh's amazing and mysterious past. Even the most Dursley-ish muggles will be converted by the end. So don your robes, grab your wands and round up your hens for a Harry Potter themed tour like no other and who knows, maybe you'll learn a little extra magic along the way. This magical addition to your hen's special weekend will be the perfect Patronus inspiration for years to come.

Don't miss out! 😭
