It might not seem like the gentlest way to treat those hen weekend hangovers but trust us, our Swansea hen party clay pigeon shooting is an absolutely perfect addition to any weekend plans.
This classic 'big bang theory' is an exciting, adrenaline-pumping action that will add some friendly hen party competition. Who will be the weekend's Top Gun and who couldn't hit Russel Grant's backside with a bazooka? There's only one way to find out.
The Swansea hen party clay pigeon shooting session will begin with a friendly safety briefing from the instructors while you enjoy a complimentary coffee and panini. It's then time to 'mount up' as you hop into the funky land rover and trailer for the short journey to the shoot site. Hop into the transport to take you on the short ride to the shooting site. Each hen will then have one to one coaching from the qualified shooting instructor. Hens can choose to fire either a 12 bore shotgun (this is what the boys shoot but does have a big quick) or you can opt for a more shoulder-friendly 20 bore which has less recoil. However, that doesn't diminish from the shooting which is bound to get hugely competitive between all the hens. Plus you get to watch each other shot so you can see exactly how well everyone is doing.
The competition involves 5 different types of clay, or 'bird' from 3 different stands; 5 going away birds and 5 incoming on stand, 5 overheads, 5 teals and 5 running rabbits (and don't worry, these are all made of clay, not the furred or feathered kind).
