A huge bonus of European football is that, unlike in England, a lot of stadiums allow alcohol in the ground, so you can enjoy a pint from the comfort of your seat rather than trying to neck one at the halftime interval.

Seriously, this notion that footy is just for the guys is nonsense, and if the bride is certifiably football-mad, then a trip to a European giant will go down an absolute storm. Even hens who aren't normally fans of the beautiful game will undoubtedly be swept up in the bouncing atmosphere and incredible occasion.
