The club has recently undergone a massive refurbishment but has a real history in Edinburgh's party scene. Back in the 80's, it played host to some of the top acts of the day; Culture Club, Simple Minds, Depeche Mode, The Clash, R.E.M. and more. Today it is still welcoming top acts and in recent years JLS, Calvin Harris, Example, Basshunter, Tom Stade and Daniel Sloss have all performed there.
