We regret to advise you that Groupia Ltd ("the Company") (trading as Groupia Golf, GoHen, StagWeb, Groupia School Trips and Company Away Days) entered Administration on 16 June 2026 with Nigel Fox and Christopher Marsden, licensed insolvency practitioners from S&W Partners LLP, being appointed as Joint Administrators.
The Joint Administrators are exploring options for the Company, however the Company has now ceased taking new bookings and arrangements are in place with the Association of Bonded Travel Organisers Trust ("ABTOT") to support customers with existing bookings.
If you have booked a trip with any Groupia Limited brand, please read the following carefully.
If your event is due to commence on or before 31 August 2026, ABTOT have arrangements in place and these events are expected to go ahead as planned. Please continue to use the Company’s existing VIP booking system in respect of these events.

York's central YHA Hostel is ideal for girls who want to have fun and don't want to spend half their hen party budget on a place to rest their heads at night. At budget-friendly prices that can look even friendlier thanks to GoHen's fabulous rates, this hostel puts the best clubs, pubs, bars and restaurants within walking distance, so you won't have to waste valuable cocktail funds on expensive taxi fares.
The YHA is set in a Victorian mansion that's been beautifully renovated into a funky, modern base camp for your big weekend. Inside you'll find a licensed bar where you can order the first drink of the evening, dining room, self-catered kitchen and a hostel shop where you can pick up any washbag basics that you might've forgotten to bring from home. The building is also wheelchair accessible.
The spacious dormitories give you plenty of room to spread out while you get ready for a girl's night on the town and include handy reading lights, phone charging stations and free WiFi. The hostel has 24hr access and there's also a luggage store if you're planning on arriving before check-in to fit in as much hen party craziness as possible (we like your style).
There's free parking for the weekend if you're planning on arriving by car, while if you're taking the train York's main rail station is just over a mile from the front door so you won't have too far to drag your suitcases.
York isn't the biggest city and the best accommodation does tend to book up quickly. Please send us your enquiry as soon as possible to avoid disappointment.
