We regret to advise you that Groupia Ltd ("the Company") (trading as Groupia Golf, GoHen, StagWeb, Groupia School Trips and Company Away Days) entered Administration on 16 June 2026 with Nigel Fox and Christopher Marsden, licensed insolvency practitioners from S&W Partners LLP, being appointed as Joint Administrators.
The Joint Administrators are exploring options for the Company, however the Company has now ceased taking new bookings and arrangements are in place with the Association of Bonded Travel Organisers Trust ("ABTOT") to support customers with existing bookings.
If you have booked a trip with any Groupia Limited brand, please read the following carefully.
If your event is due to commence on or before 31 August 2026, ABTOT have arrangements in place and these events are expected to go ahead as planned. Please continue to use the Company’s existing VIP booking system in respect of these events.

One of the most striking buildings in the whole of the city, this fantastic hotel is among our favourite locations in Europe and most certainly something a little bit unique.
The hotel has been awarded the Best Urban Regeneration Project and Best Tourism Project and the art deco façade is simply stunning. The location is ideal in this vibrant party-loving city. Set in the heart of the Old Town district, within walking distance of the famous nightlife of Bairro Alto, you'll be spoilt for choice with bars, restaurants and clubs making nights out that much easier. By day you'll have the city on your doorstep with plenty of cafes, art galleries and parks to soak up Lisbon life. If shopping is your thing then it's the perfect spot, no matter how many bags you're carrying back the old cinema is naturally close to the best of everything.
Perhaps the star of this particular show is the rooftop. The terrace is stunning and offers unspoilt views across the city and out to sea, without doubt, one of the best places to view Lisbon. There's also a great swimming pool and sun deck where you can work on those wedding tans plus a poolside bar and there really is no finer place in the whole of Lisbon to enjoy a cocktail.
The décor inside the hotel harks back to the golden era of the 30s when it was first built, once a theatre it later became a cinema and the current owners have carried that theme throughout the communal décor. The guest rooms are well proportioned and uncluttered and feature free WiFi, TVs, safes and kitchenettes with a fridge. The theatre's auditorium has been opened up, creating a dazzling central outdoor atrium with palm trees.
