It was one of the highest-grossing TV shows of all time, made global stars of its cast and won countless awards around the world. Most of all it made us laugh and cry with our own friends. A lot. But can you believe it's now been 25 years since Joey, Chandler, Ross, Monica, Rachel and Phoebe first hit our screens?
Diehard fans of the show can now head to the Big Apple with their own friends for an amazing Friends hen weekend inspired by the hit show.
The one with the real locations
This fantastic tour takes in some of the show's most memorable locations.
The tour also takes in a huge number of other famous locations from some of New York's most famous movies and TV shows, allowing you to follow in the footsteps of your favourite characters.
"All right, I took the quiz and it turns out I do put career before men."
- Chandler
The one with all the shopping
For a time it was Rachel's dream job and for many shopaholics, Bloomingdales is a dream destination, a retail cathedral of style and taste. When Rachel finally quit her job at the Central Perk it was to become a shopping assistant in this giant department store.
You'll be shown around by your own tour guide, you'll also receive a gift bag, 15% savings pass off purchases and a $25 gift card.
"He's her lobster!"
- Phoebe
The one where Ross and Rachel... You know
Possibly the scene of one of the most pivotal moments in the show's history, this is where Ross and Rachel gave in to their caveman urges... and awoke to find they had an audience! It just so happens the action all took place in one of NYC's most revered institutes, Hayden Planetarium at the American Natural History Museum. If you think you're not the 'museum-type' hold that thought as this is actually an amazing place and well worth a trip.
"JOEY DOESN'T SHARE FOOD!"
- Joey
The one with all the burgers
Thankfully you won't find Monica dressed in a terrible wig and inflatable (flammable!) boobs. What you will find is a funky, retro diner packed full of the flavours of New York. And proper waiting staff. The menu is packed with all-American classics:
There's also locally sourced beers and wines all in a 1950s setting that feels like a real slice of the Big Apple.
"And remember, if I'm harsh with you it's because you're doing it wrong."
- Monica
The one with the water
It's one of the most famous stretches of water in the world, entrance to the Hudson River and home to the Statue of Liberty who looks out over the whole bay. You'll enjoy a two-hour sailing experience just like Rachel and Joey. Unlike Rachel and Joey, you'll have an experienced skipper in charge of the helm so you can focus on the amazing experience and sightseeing as you enjoy the familiar skyline.
The beautiful 158ft clipper is based on an original 1854 ship and includes a bar serving locally brewed beers.
"It's not that common, it doesn't happen to every guy and it is a big deal!"
- Rachel
The one with the beds
The fantastic 50s diner forms part of our Friends' hotel. Situated on the Lower East side, not far from Greenwich Village which was home to the Friends' apartments, this fantastic hotel has everything you and your hen friends could need. It's also just a short subway ride from Central Park and central for all our Friends activities.
"We were on a break!"
- Ross
