Getting around Blackpool
Although Blackpool isn't a big place, it's worth considering how you and your group will get around and to and from your accommodation and activities. This town still retains a charming tramway which dates back from the Victorian era and can be used today! Sadly, most of the trams which run along the seafront are modern but once in a while, it's possible to catch a real, old-fashioned carriage in the summer months. For a real blast from the past, you can even travel in style in a ‘landau' or classic horse drawn carriage or failing this, a slightly more speedy bus service. We would suggest donkey rides but these beasts don't tend to be particularly reliable...
