As many an amateur baker will tell you, creating the perfect bake isn’t always easy and yet these amazing men and women make it look like, well, a piece of cake. Much like their towering tiers, these talented individuals never fail to rise to your special occasion.

So, to celebrate their (often frosted) achievements, we’ve gone out in full-flavoured force again to find 2017’s Top 50 Wedding Cake Designers. Paul Hollywood handshakes at the ready…

Rachelle’s

Leaving a career in the film and TV industry to bake professionally, Rachelle’s leading lady Rachel (see what we did there?) brings all the glitz and glamour of the big and small screen to her kitchen. The proof really is in the pudding too, with stunning bakes that range from the crisp and clean to jaw-dropping designs that incorporate detailed sugar flowers and marbling effects. We’re in love.

Ceri Olofson is a cake artist. The things she can do with sponge are simply breath-taking and will provide an amazing luxury centrepiece at the wedding that your guests will be talking about for the rest of the night. The close details that go into these designs are simply astounding and Ceri has a real aptitude for adding little touches that add up to create the larger, beautiful picture.

The Cake Parlour

We’re big fans of Zoe Clark here at GoHen and once again she’s blown us away with the beautiful bakes coming out of The Cake Parlour this year. These are frosted slices of heaven often decorated with intricate sugar work, complex patterns or marbling. Zoe’s repertoire is so diverse and there doesn’t seem to be a baking challenge that she hasn’t risen to and smashed all expectations into crumbs.

Tattooed Bakers

And now for something completely different! Having featured in our Top 50 Alternative Wedding Suppliers, we couldn’t not include the Tattooed Bakers in this list. Their cake creations range from the slightly quirky to the downright fantastical, with stunning detailing, perfectly formed tiers and sugar modelling that’s out of this world. Unicorn cake, anybody?
