East London Gin
Created by the East London Liquor Company this is gin for die hard gin lovers. They have a range of gins to try including wooden cask aged gins, two smaller batch gins and the star of the show, the London Dry Gin. Based in London’s East End this is perhaps the most fitting place to make British gin and certainly the resulting drink is a “proper tasty geezer”.

If you prefer your gin with heritage then Hayman’s is the drink for you. A true, timeless classic that evokes tea parties served by aproned maids while also looking up to date and perfectly fitting at any summer gathering or alone by a quiet fireside. In fact there’s no occasion where Hayman’s wouldn’t taste fantastic. Dating back over 150 years this is gin as gin should be.

City of London Gin
Some would argue that gin is synonymous with London city and after 200 years gin is now being made in the heart of the city. Set up in the year of the London Olympics this fantastic distillery has become an award winner, having achieved double gold at the San Fransisco World Spirits Competition. City of London have since won awards for a number of its gins so for us to pick one here would be like choosing our favourite child (Old Tom, it’s definitely Old Tom).

Bimber
With strong hints of nutmeg and sweet spicy cinnamon this is a true, traditional gin that all gin drinkers will love. Warm, comforting, strangely familiar, it’s also a drink that will convert many to the joys of gin so it’s best used sparingly on those not already in the know (in fact don’t waste it on them!). It feels thoroughly British and is the perfect Wimbledon accompaniment.

Dodd’s Gins
Yes, plural, to be honest we couldn’t pick just one. Dry Gin, Honey Gin, Old Tom, and that’s before we explore the collaboration between the London Distillery and their partners at Kew Gardens which are fantastic looking gins. Just a lemon’s throw from Tower Bridge this is about as London as London gin can get without getting a part in Eastenders. Definitely one to add to any gin lovers’ hit list.

No3 London Dry Gin
Not all gins are created equal. No3 London Dry Gin is a fine example of that. Distilled by Berry Bros & Rudd which dates back to 1698 and hold two royal warrants which themselves date back to the reign of King George. This is a gin with true pedigree, has more medals than the Chelsea pensioners and twice the history.
