Finding the best channels to watch while you’re busy planning a wedding can be hard work, so we’ve found 27 of the absolute best wedding vlogs to enjoy in the build to your big day.
Bride de Force
Fleur was already a majorly successful beauty YouTuber. She didn’t need to create Bride de Force. But we’re so glad she did. Working with wedding planner sister Hannah, this sibling duo make some of the best bridal vlogs we’ve seen, covering everything from the best wedding make-up, cakes, save-the-dates, hair styles and planning tips to wonderful real weddings that will leave you with an abundance of ideas to add to your scrapbooks. A force indeed!
It’s no secret that we absolutely adore the girls at Bespoke Bride. But it’s also no secret (or it shouldn’t be) that leading ladies Jessica and Emily are the perfect characters to stay in touch with throughout the whole wedding planning process. Bright, bubbly and fun to the bone, these girls have oodles of boho inspiration to share and for them there’s no idea too strange. The wackier, the better. And yes, we love it. And yes, you will too.
What do you do when you’re stressed? Ask your Mum. What do you do when you need help? Ask your Mum. What do you do when the pressure of wedding planning has you boiling over with bridezilla levels of rage? You go to Helpful Mum of two, Siân, and follow her superb advice. Not only does she have plenty of bridal wisdom to share, but her very family orientated channel is an insightful (and often hilarious!) window into the life that comes after. Essential YouTube viewing if we’ve ever seen it.
JK and Charlie
This husband and wife vlogging team of two radio presenters make for incredibly easy watching as they struggle with the trials and tribulations of parenthood for the first time with another bun in the oven. Even more useful throughout the wedding planning process however are their superb money saving tips, as well as vlogs showing you first-hand what you should expect from your chosen suppliers and on the big day itself. Never change, JK and Charlie, never change.
(Like what you hear? You can listen to JK on weekdays 4-7pm over at Heart London and on the Heart Network on Saturdays 6-10am).
DizzyBrunette3, the vlogging alter-ego of Corrie, is an incredibly stylish escape from reality for when you feel like doing nothing more than slipping on your PJ’s and chilling out with a little help from Misters Ben & Jerry. Corrie will give you daily fashion tips, friendly chats on life as well as some guest appearances from Frank the Dog. But as a soon-to-be bride herself, she offers so much more than this in the form of a relatable and honest face to follow as, just like her, you go about planning the happiest day of your life.
Watching Laura Bradshaw’s videos (also known as Tiny Twisst) is like having a friendly conversation with one of your best friends. She’s just that wonderful kind of human being who can make you feel just a ‘lil bit better if you’re stressed out about your “I do” with only a few minutes of chat. Having recently tied the knot herself, Laura has plenty of wedding wisdom to share as well as loads of style tips for everything from the hen party to the honeymoon.
Dolly Bow Bow
Mother to one (and expecting another) Kate Murnane is a wonderful vlogger to watch while you’re in the throes of wedding planning. With everything from the mishaps of family life to Primark fashion hauls to hold your interest, Kate has a beautiful personality and really is a soothing character to inspire you on your journey to the altar. Her own was pretty successful too, as you’ll see below.
In her own words, Helen Anderson creates “videos to please the less ordinary”. Well call us less ordinary, because we absolutely ruddy adore Helen’s vibrant, alternative style of vlogging. Tackling the latest fashions, hairstyles and larger life issues in the process. Add a sprinkling of “get ready with me” videos, conversational Q&A’s and wedding planning updates from Helen’s own special day last year, and you’ve got the recipe for the perfect channel to watch while you’re waiting to walk the aisle.
Lydia Elise Millen
We didn’t know it was possible to fall in love with the aesthetic of a vlog before we first saw Lydia Elise Millen’s. This channel is a picture-perfect style guide whatever the season and whatever your personal fashion flavour is, while bride-to-be Lydia makes presenting it all look effortless as she gives you a frank and indulgent look at what’s hot right now. As well as pre-wedding fitness routines to make sure you’re feeling your absolute radiant best before the big day.
Lifestyle and beauty vlogger Samantha Maria is just an ordinary girl who has this YouTube thang all figured out. Her secret? Just. Be. Yourself. Samantha is never anything less than totally honest and it really does show in her chatty blogs talking all things beauty, babies, life issues and more recently, weddings, as she builds up to her own perfect “I do”. Which if the video below is any indication is bound to be uh-mazing.
No, you aren’t seeing double, it’s just that Helen Anderson (who you’ll remember from just up the list) is also part of the Confetti Girls with brilliant Rock ‘n’ Roll Bride founder Kat Williams. Putting together their combined bridal smarts for all the alternative couples out there, this channel is the perfect viewing material to put on while you’re deciding your seating plan, wedding suppliers or just taking a break as this duo are just as entertaining together as they are informative. Besides, any YouTube channel that tells you where to find your dream wedding dress for over £200 is surely worth subscribing to, right?
Life of Laura-Lee
The first American to appear on this list and by no means the last is the ever-watchable Laura-Lee. She’s a coffee drinking, straight talking, creative vlogger who is always worth watching whether she’s unboxing brand-new make-up, reviewing the latest fashion trends or just bringing you along for the wild ride of her life. Plus, her wedding tips (particularly the genius of her DIY planning binder) are unmissable as you’ll see below.
Whole Lotta Rosie
Based in Spain, Rosie is a delightful YouTuber who always greets you with a warm smile from the moment you press play to the point where she’s waving goodbye. But as a former bride herself, she knows just how much hard work went into planning her special day and she’s got plenty of tips to share with you as you try to work out just how you’re going to afford everything you’re dreaming of. Not to mention plenty of make-up inspiration to boot.
We. LOVE. Carly. Refreshingly honest and an absolutely brilliant personality to follow, her fitness and healthy living guides are the ideal content to keep you on the straight and narrow if you’re trying to keep to a regime for that honeymoon beach bod. But unlike some YouTubers she’s actually really encouraging and makes you feel like you can go above and beyond your fitness goals. Her surprise sunrise “I do” also looked like the absolute rustic #weddinggoals.
Ebony Day Vlogs
As well as a supremely gifted singer/songwriter, Ebony Day is, like you, a bride-to-be currently undergoing the arduous task of planning her wedding. Which makes her all the better to follow as you juggle your seating plans etc as she’s a genuinely relatable face to reassure you that you aren’t going completely raving mad. Yes, even when your entire family are asking you to pick a wedding date but you know in your heart of hearts that you just can’t choose just yet! #ThankYouEbony
Beautiful. Stylish. Entertaining. Lily Pebbles has to be one of our favourite lifestyle vloggers regardless of whether she’s talking about weddings or not. Her monthly favourites videos are a satisfying guide of the things you should be paying attention to right now (if you’re not already) while it’s certainly worth going back to watch her wedding vlogs from last year for plenty of tips and inspiration.
The Anna Edit
There are plenty of lifestyle channels out there on YouTube but there’s none like Anna’s. The Anna Edit is a super friendly, relatable vlog that doesn’t feel a million miles away from where you are in life right now, without sacrificing the all-important #designporn for you to aspire towards. Her wedding day makeup look tutorial is a fabulous example of how you don’t really need an artist to give you that radiant, glowing appearance you’re after and we’d say that her wedding Q&A is must-watch before you tie the knot.
Ashley & Ashley
If you were lucky enough to have a best friend who had exactly the same name as you when you were growing up, you’ll know that it’s pretty much like having a twin. That’s totally the vibe we get from Ashley & Ashley, two fabulous US lifestyle vloggers and photographers who take on hilarious challenges and impart crucial wedding day advice for engaged ladies just like you in their small but perfectly formed selection of vlogs.
But First, Coffee
First things first. Kallie likes fun. But she also likes saving money. Sound familiar? But First, Coffee is the channel that you should be subscribing to and keeping an eye on your subs box for each and every new edition. Not only will you be rewarded for your efforts with loads of life hacks covering everything from DIY skin care techniques to easy salon-style hair do’s, but her cost-saving ideas for your wedding day are priceless (pun intended).
Katie & Baby
It might not seem that way when you’re deep within the midst of your wedding plans, but there is actually a life after your “I do” and Katie & Baby is the perfect reminder of why you’re tying knot and what might possibly await you after you come home from the honeymoon. But as a woman who has been there, done that and got the veil to prove it, Katie also has lots of bridal wisdom that she happily shares in the vlog below. Pour a cuppa and get watching.
Harry Makes It Up
Having worked for Vogue Italia, Wonderland, Tatler Asia, Burberry and celebrities like Rita Ora, Cara Delevigne, Charli XCX, Jessie Ware and Goldfrapp, Harriet Hadfield is the perfect person to take make-up pointers from as you plan your bridal look. And if you think that these tutorials are difficult to follow then think again, despite their stylish, complex designs, Harriet makes things easy to follow so no matter your skill level with a make-up brush you can create your own wedding style.
What’s so special about Jessica Avey’s channel is that if you go back far enough, you can actually watch her full transition from nervous bride-to-be to full blown Mumma! Jessica’s family vlogs are absolutely perfect and will definitely get you giggling, but it’s her fantastic wedding hauls and tips that we’re going to point you towards today. They’re jam packed with helpful advice and info about the big day and we strongly recommend you check out her wedding video from two years ago (how time flies!) to see the end result. *Spoiler alert* It’s magical.
Kerry Conway’s vlogs are a raw and often hilarious look at what the life of the nuclear family is like behind closed doors. She’s a hardworking mum of two, who like you, was once just a stressed-out bride-to-be who couldn’t wait to walk down the aisle and get that knot all tied up. This vlog is a great way to reassure you and keep yourself calm during the more worrisome moments of wedding planning while her FANTASTIC wedding day blog is a happy reminder that the most important thing about your “I do” is that it’s yours.
Former bride-to-be and oh-so-watchable lifestyle vlogger Jade Billington is a f-a-b human being. Not just because she shares loads of really easy DIY beauty tips, but because with one video she can reassure you that the process of wedding planning isn’t always easy. We know! Shocking, right? But Jade really does make it all so relatable, letting you know that you aren’t alone in your struggles and that it actually will all be alright in the end.
Born in Finland. Speaking Swedish. Living in London. Lifestyle vlogger Cat Peterson is a hilarious well worthy of your YouTube viewing hours (definitely one to subscribe to) and this is a fabulous time to start watching as she’s just gotten engaged to fellow YouTuber Dave Cad. What does this mean for you? It means that you can bet she’ll be sharing all her best bridal ideas for you to ‘borrow’, and you’ll also have plenty of existing advice to pick and choose from when it comes to living with men. Those sock hoarding, toilet roll collecting monsters.
Sonia Nicolson is an Edinburgh native who made the bold move to relocate in Reykjavik, Iceland with her “Viking, Ingimar”, marrying this summer (congratulations guys!) Her weekly “Living in Iceland” vlogs are a fabulous look at life on this side of the Fjords, while her regular wedding updates are certainly worth keeping up with both to cherry pick the best ideas for your scrapbooks and check out how “I do’s” are done in this part of the world.
Rachel Leary is a must-follow YouTube whether you’re a bride, bridesmaid or even just a guest at a wedding this summer as her glamorous make-up tutorials can give you an abundance of amazing ideas and help you create that perfect look you’ve been searching for. Rachel is super friendly, really relatable and a wonderful personality too, and it’s not been unheard of to go on a bit of a YouTube binge when catching up with her brilliant advice Q&A’s and weekly vlogs.
