New York is famed for its incredible shops, from the chic boho shopping warehouses like Artists and Fleas. This converted warehouse might cheekily call itself a flea market, but in reality it’s packed with great artisan jewellery, shoes, hats, bags as well as being an Aladdin’s cave of retro and vintage clothes, books, bags, shoes and more.
As Ney York hen party activities go, shopping is an absolute dream in the big apple, there are then the big names like Macy’s, Levis, JC Penny’s, Bloomingdales, H&M, Tiffany & Co who all have flagship stores in the city.
Prices in New York are often much cheaper than in the UK so you really will bag bargains, whether it’s a must have pair of shoes or the latest tablet or smartphone (always check UK compatibility when buying US electrical goods as thy run on a different power circuit).
London – Paris – Rome - Milan – New York These are the biggest fashion destinations in the world and NYC takes it’s fashion very seriously. That includes it’s shopping. All the big name designers have stores in the city, mostly on Saks 5th Avenue, however you don’t need Elton John’s budget to pick up a great new outfit or two. At Century21 you’ll find top brand names at upto 40% off. The Massimo Dutti store is another we’d recommend to savvy fashionistas looking for something different at a great price, with over 13,000ft of shopping space in one store.
