Renishaw also hosts special occasions which makes it doubly worth a visit for couple’s seeking a stately wedding day.

Elgar Wines – Elgar Wines make stunning wines which are wonderfully drinkable but minus the pomp and circumstance. You don’t need to feel out of your depth when buying wines from Elgar as their friendly and helpful team will make you feel right at home, you can email or call them to arrange a visit. Once you can have selected a wonderful local still or sparkling vintage for your wedding, you can buy direct from the cellar door (which isn’t as surreptitious as it sounds).

Broadfield Court – If you need a break from your wedding planning there is no finer place than Broadfield Court. Not only are the location and vineyard stunning but you can dress the day up as “wedding research” by testing some of their fine wines. The staff are really helpful and friendly and happy to answer questions, it’s also a wonderful wedding venue itself and worth a look for that alone. However keeping the focus on the wines you’ll find everything you need for your special day (which you can purchase at the vineyard or on their website) and by buying local you’ll add a real talking point to your table.
