Is there a better way to start the weekend than a cheeky gin & tonic or two? How about to start one of the most important weekends of the bride-to-be's life? We didn't think so. This fantastic gin tasting experience is the perfect way to have a laugh and sample a few G&Ts while you're at it. What else do you need?
When you and the ladies arrive you'll be greeted with your first G&T of the session before hearing about the history of gin and learning the science behind Alston's patented Alston Cold Compound. This is the process that gives their gin its flavour and knowing the science is the perfect thing to break the ice at G&T gatherings for many years to come. While you're learning there are two types of gin to sample before you all get a second G&T, for scientific purposes of course.
Throughout the class there you'll try five different flavour profiles:
After your science and history lessons you'll take part in the hilarious (and deadly) Edible, Deadible mini game in which you're tasked with guessing, from a line of plants, which are fine to use in drinks and which are actually fatal. Don't worry, they'll tell you if you're right way before you have to test your theories. There's even a prize for the winner.
The whole group will then get behind the bar to put the book learning to the test and make yourself a Gin Sour cocktail which you will, of course, be allowed to drink in the name of quality control.
