getting to Barcelona

You can get to Barcelona by car, train and boat, but the best method from the UK is by plane. Flying from London (all airports) to Barcelona (BCN) has a 2 hour 20 minute average duration and there are 15-22 flights a day.

getting around Barcelona

Barcelona’s centre is compact and easily explored on foot - though there are good metro and bus systems for longer journeys. All metro lines operate from 5am to midnight Monday to Thursday, 5am to 2am Friday and non-stop on Saturday. Buses run all night to areas not covered by the metro system.

If you’re planning on hiring a car then bear in mind that there’s little parking and most of the city is subject to one-way systems. You can hail taxis but bear in mind they can work out quite expensive at night. We can organise any transfers as needed.
