Swansea hen nights are all about partying. If you want a glass of Pimms and a "natter" then Swansea probably isn't for you. If you want top tunes, great clubs, fantastic food and a night out to remember then ladies a Swansea hen night is just what the Doctor (or bride-to-be) ordered.
Swansea hen parties are spoilt for choice when it comes to nightlife. There are some great bars and clubs, in fact there are far more than even the most dedicated hen party could hope to get round in a single weekend (please don't take that as a challenge!) but the good news is we already know the hottest venues in town and can set up guest list entry for you. Well this is the bride-to-be's big weekend, we don't want her hanging around queuing for entry anymore than you do. So it will be VIP all the way.
Let us know what you would like to do and we'll line up the action.
Hens in need of a party atmosphere should head to The Kingsway in the heart of the city centre where you can party the night away in bars, clubs and fine restaurants into the wee small hours.
For a little warm up you could take on the "Mumbles Mile" but for the non-aerobic among you don't panic, it's not some crazy race and isn't actually a mile. It's actually a two mile stretch on the Mumbles Road which even featured in The Guardian newspaper as one of Britain's best pub crawls so you can be sure it'll be lively and buzzing with a great party atmosphere.
The last stop on your whistle stop tour that is well worthy of a party mention is Wind Street which is THE hub of Swansea nightlife.
If like us a good night out requires a pair of heels rather than walking boots you'll be pleased to know that Swansea city centre is compact enough to make it round on foot without the need for a foot spa. What's more all our hotels are right in the centre of town making them the perfect nest for any Swansea hen party.
Swansea isn't too shabby when it comes to cuisine either, as well as all the well-known high street restaurant chains you'll find all manner of different national flavours represented, Thai, Indian, Greek, Chinese, Turkish, Mexican… It's a veritable gastronomic Unite Nations so you can be sure even the pickiest eaters will have plenty to choose from as you get your night started. It's also worth mentioning the huge Italian community that settled in this part of Wales which has given way to some fantastic Italian restaurants.
And of course being coastal the fish and chips are fantastic with local catches heading straight from the sea direct to the fryer the same day. It's the only way to eat fish and chips with a good smattering of more classical seafood restaurants as well.
