Especially nice in summer, here you'll find popular and lively alfresco watering holes with a very continental feel, perfect for when you and the girls want to relax over a couple of delicious cocktails or a bottle of wine before heading out to the clubs. On nearby Queen Street, look out for charming independent pubs and bars which are full of character. It doesn't have to be all about cocktails and busting out your best moves when night falls in Bath, however. Getting Around Bath

Because Bath has a relatively small city centre, it means that most bars, restaurants, clubs and attractions are located very close to the vast majority of our central accommodation options, making it nice and simple to find your way back from the dance floor to your bed in a matter of minutes! If you're staying a little further out however, taxis are plentiful and affordable. Most likely you'll easily be able to walk to and from your accommodation to your nightclub of choice, but if you don't fancy risking it in 6-inch stilettos, taking a taxi is your best option. Use one of GoHen's recommended taxi firms or pick one up on South Parade and in between the Abbey and Poultney Bridge - expect to pay near £1 each for a full taxi from a central spot or up to around £3 if you need to get in from the outskirts. The city has a couple of reliable taxi services, but consider booking in advance on busy Friday and Saturday nights to avoid missing out on any booked activities or meals.
