Most of the time the maid of honour organises the hen weekend, but the hen obviously has her input to ensure everyone will have a great weekend.
Something that always crops up when people talk about hen weekends is that you can get it cheaper if you organise it all yourself…but majority of the time this is wrong. If you were to sit down and think of everything that is involved in organising a hen do, it is not a 5 minute job.
Some things you must consider are – accommodation ( availability and whether they will accept 15+ hens), hen activities you want to do, evening entertainment (casino, comedy club, nightclubbing – again you have to find out whether they will let in 15+ hens and whether they will accept pink cowgirl hats!).
In most cases hotels and activity sites require full payment, which means getting the money of the girls before booking (you don’t want to be left out of pocket after a few drop outs!) with can be a big task on its own.

I’ve got to organise a hen weekend soon and it’s a lot more work than I thought to do it on my own.. I think I’m probably going to need some help, it’s been a nightmare just trying to get everyone to decide on where to go!!!
We got our destination sorted quite early, but we just can’t get everyone to decide on what to do there! I think we’ll have to get the bride to make the casting vote on that!
