Wedding Fashion: Brides, Bridesmaids and Guests sorted!

If you’re cruising along to some Autumn nuptials anytime soon then chances are the all-important attire is forefront on your mind! Whether you’re the blushing bride-to-be or the proud sister-in-law don’t panic, advice is at hand! Here are some fashion ideas straight off the catwalk at London Fashion Week, and once you’ve got your look sorted we’d bet everything else will just fall into place!

Brides

You lucky things, with the excellent bridal inspiration straight off the London Fashion Week catwalks there’s a whole host of amazing, modern options! Whether you want a delicate gown or a striking vanilla coloured creation, there was a bit of everything on the catwalk and a whole lot of looks to draw from. Paul Costelloe created a gorgeous cream dress with a short hem, little puff sleeves and draped, oversized bows. Get yourself a similar Phase Eight one at a fantastic price here. Antonio Berardi jazzed it up a bit with a more space-age feel, including flashes of leg, mermaid hemmed skirts and moulded hip panels – once again Phase Eight does a gorgeous version of Antonio’s here. Temperley London gave a fantastic show with floral appliqué and crystal droplets; we also love their cream, silk-sleeved serena dress for the honeymoon!

Bridesmaids

Your dress is probably going to need the seal of approval from the bride, though you might have been given a particular colour and sent off to find a matching dress. For totally affordable options head yourselves over to the Topshop website - if you’re looking for a red or pink dress then we love this chiffon bandeau dress! For a more traditional style, Debenhams offer a beautiful purple maxi ball gown and a fawn tiered bandeau dress. Erdem presented some great dress looks on the LFW catwalk with ivory lace and knee-length gowns and you can get a similar lacy one from Kaliko here.

Guests

As guests you can venture away from whites and pastels and explore a host of other LFW looks! It may be time to peel your eyes off the catwalk and look instead at the super celeb looks during the week. Olivia Palermo and Alexa Chung turned up in Burberry belted trench coats, so if you’re going to a winter wedding get yourselves a similar Miss Selfridge frill front mac coat here. Pixie Lott showed up in a plain white shirt (get yourself an M&S corset shirt version here) and Lady Gaga in typical extravagant style wore a huge floral headpiece and we’re thrilled to announce you can get a similar one from Asos here. She paired it with a beautiful Alexander McQueen strapless gown, for a classic version Mango sell a strapless combi dress which will look great teamed with heels and a cream bolero.

There’s some ideas for you ladies, but if you don’t fancy any of these then head over to Asos, get your hands on a copy of Vogue or nip to the high street for some inspiration! Whatever you decide to wear, be sure to sort your hen party look out as well- don’t let the fashion slip for your evening of male strip shows, casino‘s and nightclubbing!
