Top tips for your Sunday hen party

Spending a hen weekend with the girls? Chances are that you’ve organised a fantastic Friday night and Saturday, packed with burlesque dancing, cocktail mixing, delicious food and some partying. What about the Sunday though? Chances are the girls are going to need a bit of relaxing after the excitement of the rest of the weekend, so give everyone a break and check out our great Sunday ideas…

Shopping! A bit of retail therapy might be exactly what the girls need on Sunday! The shops tend to open up a bit later which means you can have a much needed lie-in before putting on the practical shoes and getting the purse ready! If you’re off on an Edinburgh hen party then you’ll find an amazing range of high street shops and small Scottish boutiques (and you can pick up some excellent quality winter woollies!) or a Bath hen weekend offers a beautiful range of both mainstream shops and vintage gems. In London you’ll find just about every type of shop you can image, and Cardiff equally has a great range. Looking to go further afield this winter? There’s some excellent Christmas markets you can take the girls to, head to Prague, Tallinn, Vilnius and Ljubljana for a festive atmosphere and Christmas goodies.

Pampering – You’ve worn your feet out dancing and your eyes are tired from VIP clubbing so it’s time for some TLC. Get yourselves pampered with an enticing menu of pampering treats – we can arrange for you to get facials, back massages, Indian head massages, manicures and a bit of everything in an indulgent pampering day!

Get creative – Why not make some gorgeous creations with the girls, and take home a souvenir? Try our cake decorating class for some delicious treats, or get a bit saucy with our lingerie making activity. Get ready to adorn your bridal arms with fine jewels after our jewellery making class and thoroughly indulge in our chocolate making class. Get feet and scent sorted for the big day by starting Sunday morning with a shoe making workshop and filling the afternoon with an aromatic perfume making session.

Try a relaxing activity – True that sounds a bit contradictory but thankfully some of our activities on offer are actually quite relaxing. How about a trip on the London Eye for some non-moving sightseeing? Or a Jamie Oliver cookery session where you can learn from the professionals and create a masterpiece! Our life-drawing class is a great way to spend an afternoon together as you sketch and admire your stunning success. Wine tasting and champagne tasting are also options (if you’re feeling up to it after your big night!) as they see you learn the different tastes, aromas and textures of the drinks.

Whatever you decide to do, if you plan in advance and stay organised you’re bound to have an amazing end to the weekend! Check out GoHen for hundreds of other ideas for your hen weekend, and have an amazing time!
