Avril Lavigne and Nickleback star engaged!
Yet more exciting engagement news! Skater chick Avril Lavigne got engaged the other day to Nickelback’s lead singer Chad Kroeger.
They’ve had a six-month whirling romance and now it’s time for the loved-up pair to tie-the-knot. Chad got down on one knee with a 14-carat diamond ring, and Avril was seen sporting both the beautiful ring and a huge smile the other day! Nickelback tweeted of the news “Congratulations Avril and Chad!”. A family friend revealed, “He makes her so happy, both of their families could not be more excited.”
The happy pair met back in February when they started to co-write a song for her new album – and romance just blossomed! “A romantic relationship blossomed as they spent time writing together,” a source told People magazine. The Canadian musician pair have yet to announce official wedding plans and their hen party/stag do plans, but we can see them being lavish, memorable affairs!
Avril is friends with celebs Jessica Alba and Danielle Lloyd, and the pair were at Danielle Lloyd Liverpool hen do earlier this year having a fantastic time. Avril’s a classy lady and she might prefer to follow in footsteps of refined Kate Middleton and have an exciting London hen party, where she can join her hens in making a new CD on GoHen’s recording studio activity! Whatever she decides to do for her hen do we know she’ll have a fantastic time – so a big congrats to the happy couple!
