Cambridge: “Our hen day was brilliant”
With so many hens raving about our Cambridge hen do packages we decided we absolutely had to write a blog post and give all you potential Cambridge-goers some info! To get the lowdown for all you lucky readers we talked to our in-house Cambridge account manager (and super-expert of all things Cambs) Jamie.
Me: Hi Jamie, so Cambridge! For starters, what do you think is the best reason to go there?
Jamie: Hello, ah there are so many reasons! I think probably at the top of the list is the Cambridge atmosphere – it’s totally relaxed which is perfect for the daytime since you don’t necessarily want to be crazy and rushed all day and then all night as well!
Me: Sounds good, and the best things to do when you’re there?
Jamie: It depends what kind of thing the hen likes, if she’s an active sort then an afternoon of dance lessons can be hilarious fun, like pole dancing and dirty dancing. One that every hen party loves is the pampering day since everyone loves to indulge and relax in a spa with their best friends and get facials, pedicures and massages!
Me: Perfect, and for hens that don’t fancy the traditional activities?
Jamie: There are some great unusual packages that we do, Murder on the Dance Floor is a perfect example – you do the girly spa package first but then you get taken on a chauffeured punt followed by a walking ghost tour and a murder mystery evening complete with 3 course meal. So cool and original, and a perfect camera opp.
Me: Amazing! So I’m sure everyone wants to know, what’s the nightlife like over there?
Jamie: In Cambridge everything’s near the city centre which means you don’t have to walk far, and there’s such a community with everyone that you’ll find yourselves having laughs with total strangers. There’s clubs for cheesy music lovers and cool, alternative clubs, as well as all the pubs and vodka bars you find in the biggest cities. Essentially it’s an amazing night out and the lively, friendly mood is absolutely perfect for hen parties.
Me: Thank you for your time, any parting notes?
Jamie: Cambridge really is a top choice for hen parties if you’re looking for classy restaurants, an amazing atmosphere and loads of superb things to do!
