Are the April showers dampening your spirits?

The UK has been treated to major downpours in all areas, ironically just after areas across England were hit with a hose pipe ban. Today and into the weekend, the UK has been hit with further weather warnings as more heavy rain, hail and thunder will continue. But unfortunately it doesn’t stop there; the torrential rain will persist and carry on into the first couple of weeks in May.

According to the Met Office and the Environmental agency, rivers are beginning to swell and some will be at the risk of bursting its banks. Many roads and dry land across the UK will also be prone to flooding and will cause absolute chaos.

But don’t let this dampened your spirits, summer is on its way (hopefully), and if you’re taking part in any hen weekend watersports you won’t be affected, if anything you’ll be laughing! It’s obvious people are growing frustrated with the constant unpredictable weather and due to this, European hen weekends are on the rise as hen groups are wanting to escape the bad weather.

With the May bank holiday, Spring bank holiday and the Queens Jubilee approaching, this is the perfect time to get the girls together and hop over to the continent and enjoy some fun in the sun. Whether it’s for a last minute hen weekend or just a girls weekend away, it’s time to do something spontaneous and get something booked. Why not check out our top 10 European hen weekend packages and prepare for the glorious sunshine and a refreshing beverage in hand, instead of dodging the rain at home.
