The increasing popularity of the lower temperature infra red sauna is allegedly down to some impressive benefits, the rays (unlike traditional saunas) are supposed penetrate the body to a depth and ‘resonance’ that serves to dislodge the toxins from the body, subsequently exiting through sweat. So in summary the infra red sauna system reaches deep into the tissues, encourages circulation and stimulates the release of toxins from the body.
